Hilton Hawaiian Village The Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa, formerly the Kaiser Hawaiian Village Hotel, is one of the most popular hotels in Waikiki — based on name recognition and visitor statistics — on the Hawaiian island of O'ahu.
Located near Ala Moana Center, the largest open air shopping center in the world, the Hawaiian Village Hotel sits on over twenty two acres (89,000 m²) of prime beachfront property and features the largest swimming pool in Waikiki.
There are over twenty-two restaurants, exotic wildlife, and botanical gardens as well as a branch of the Bishop Museum. The Village Hotel is home to a group of South African black-footed penguins that live in an outdoor habitat surrounded by greenary and a small pond filled with several types of turtles (box and soft-shelled). Other animals that live on the grounds include several types of ducks, lesser flamingos, sacred ibis, black-crowned night herons, koi fishes, chameleons, macaws, and parakeets.

Ala Moana Stores Though there are a few stores (such as Longs Drugs, Sears, and KayBee Toys) which offer products to local residents, many of the Center's stores target the tourist economy on which it so heavily relies. The shopping center focuses its marketing on tourism, providing brochures in Japanese, one of its major clientele. There are more than 260 shops and restaurants, including boutique stores of leading international fashion designers.

Ala Moana Center Court Yard The court yard is the open area inbetween all the stores. You can sit around on benches or shop from the vendors, that have carts during the day time, selling their products. Have a seat around a few potted palms, or just enjoy walking the grand walk betweens stores.
